When Memory Begins to Speak

Day 1: When Memory Begins to Speak

Quotation:
“Memory is not only about what we remember; it is also about what God has preserved for our becoming.”

Short Reflection:
As this month begins, I invite you into a journey of memory, poetry, faith, and becoming. The Life Between the Lines: Memory and the Journey of Becoming is not simply a book of old poems. It is a return to the voice of a younger self, now revisited through the wisdom of lived experience, spiritual reflection, and gratitude.

There are things we write when we are young that we do not fully understand until life has deepened us. Words written in one season may become mirrors in another. They remind us where we started, what we survived, how we changed, and how God continued to shape us through visible and invisible seasons.

This daily series is an invitation to pause, remember, reflect, and give thanks.
______

This is Day 1 of 31 Days of Memory, Faith, and Becoming, a month-long reflection series introducing themes from my upcoming book, The Life Between the Lines: Memory and the Journey of Becoming.

Call to Action:
Follow the series and share today’s reflection with someone who is on a life journey, carrying a story, and still becoming.
I am running a few minutes late; my previous meeting is running over.
